A rare opportunity to join our vibrant, friendly Technical and Customer Support Team. We are hiring at all levels so keen to talk to both experienced candidates with previous experience (troubleshooting and supporting Broadband (ADSL, VDSL, GFast, FTTP), PSTN and email services) and less experienced candidates with some IT & Internet Customer Support experience. Full training will be given.

Technical Support Agent - Broadband / Telecoms / ICT
Hitchin, SG5 | £18,000 - £27,000 DOE + Business grade internet service, mobile phone, subsidised pension, private health care - Upon completion of probation period

We are a specialist ISP based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire providing Broadband, Telephone, Web and Email services to Residential and Business customers alike.

Aside from the standard support duties you would expect, the right candidate will have the opportunity to shape the role to their personality, we offer the chance to take on specific facets of our industry as well as providing additional training and encourage individuality to shine within the team.

Prior experience in the Support industry preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Basic duties include:

+ Supporting customers with Technical, Sales and General Billing queries across our full portfolio. (ADSL, ADSL2+, FTTC, FTTP, Ethernet, EAD, PSTN, VOIP, Email and Domain hosting)
+ Incident management through to resolution in timely manner
+ Liaising with wholesalers and third parties
+ Hardware configuration
+ Build and maintain relationships with Wholesalers, Re-sellers, Business and Residential customers alike.
+ Maintain our exceptional standard of professionalism and customer service

Excellent customer service skills and natural empathy for customer situation is paramount.

Candidate must be:

+ Self-motivated, team player
+ Approachable, friendly and humorous
+ Efficient problem solver
+ Able to think outside the box and go the extra mile every time
