We are a dynamic and growing independent hire business within the TV & film sector based in West London. We supply behind-camera equipment to film & TV shoots across London and we are looking for a new warehouse assistant to join our growing team.
Assistant Warehouse Supervisor | TV & Film Equipment
London W3 | £28,000 + overtime, benefits & bonuses
As part of our warehouse team you will be working closely with the warehouse supervisor and will be responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of our warehouse space and equipment. Preparing orders for customer collections, organising and managing storage for clients’ needs including food, wardrobe and props. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail are essential. You must be computer illiterate with a positive can-do attitude and a great team player.
This is a fast-paced role which thrives on excellent communication, organisation and teamwork.
Who are you?

Ideally you would have had a proven history of working in a fast-paced warehouse. You will need to be able to work in a team and sometimes alone, responding calmly and well under pressure and last-minute changes in the workload priorities.

+ Assist the warehouse supervisor with day to day duties
+ Manage incoming food deliveries and organise food storage
+ Organise and accurately prepare equipment for orders from delivery notes
+ Checking in all stock once returned from hire, thoroughly inspecting and ensuring all kit is kept in delivery-ready condition
+ Liaise with the booking team and purchasing manager to record stock loss and damage costs
+ Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse space
+ Interacting with customers who come to return and collect hires, providing a friendly, professional service
Additional / Occasional Duties:
+ Loading and unloading the 3.5T vans.
+ Possible ad hoc deliveries and collections across London during the busy season.
+ Experience in working in a warehouse environment
+ Knowledge of gas, electrical and mechanical maintenance
+ Excellent time management, organisation and workload prioritisation skills
+ Strong working IT / PC knowledge
+ A helpful and positive attitude
+ Exemplary attention to detail and tidiness
+ 28 – 31 days holiday (including bank holidays)
+ Company closed for Christmas period
Full training will be given, and applicants can expect to build an in-depth knowledge of shoot essential equipment.
