Digital Content Assistant

Our professional site installation, content creation and distribution, service and support functions enable Scion Interactive to provide a truly “end to end” service.

The Digital Content Assistant wil co-ordinate and distribute digital media and applications for clients through our content management systems. Working closely with marketing and advertising agency teams, you will ensure content is appropriate for the network and deployed in accordance with campaign strategy.
This role assists the preparation of content and distribution across a nationwide infrastructure of connected screens via digital signage platforms. The role will require close co-operation with our customers’ creative agencies to receive, check and distribute content to specific media players across the network. Testing new content and troubleshooting running issues are all part of the role.
+ Manage distributions via digital signage content management software of primarily agency generated content to a network of audio visual technology assets in customer sites, including overseeing expiry dates and compressing data files where required
+ Ensure correct running order of content via management of playlists and zoning of content to the designated screens within customer premises
+ Monitor and approve social media posts and content for clients
+ Support the Digital Team Leader with uploading content to the Scion Interactive website
+ Test new content, running it through web browsers and content management software to ensure no issues with file size and formats
+ Troubleshoot issues with content not playing smoothly, identify root causes and resolve
+ Organise storage of content data files in a secure and reliable way
Education & Skills Required:
+ Positive attitude, interest in marketing/technology, willingness to get involved, desire to learn
+ Excellent administrative skills with a meticulous attention to detail and works to a high standard of professionalism
+ Knowledge and experience of content management systems and/or a proven ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
+ Works independently and methodically and uses initiative to solve problems
+ Able to prioritise work among competing tasks with changing priorities
+ Comfortable with managing data files – downloads, uploads, file transfer, data security
+ Proven customer service experience with well-developed communication skills and good, professional customer service manner
+ Experience of using project management tools (e.g. Wrike/Asana) and/or Wordpress is not essential but would be advantageous
+ Hours of work: 08:30 to 17:00 (with 1 unpaid hour for lunch), Monday - Friday
+ Salary: £19,000 - £22,000 per annum (based on experience)
+ Discretionary bonus based on company performance
+ Contributory Company pension
+ 30 days’ holiday (including public holidays), with an additional day for each year of service for up to 3 years
